Kevin

Kevin White was running a restaurant when he saw a job application for Coastal Beverage Company. Since starting as a driver trainee on a Hatteras Island route almost twenty years ago, Kevin has managed Hatteras sales, has worked as a driver, and after much hard work and determination, has recently become the delivery manager at CBC.

Kevin considers Tim Radigan, operations manager over sales and delivery, one of his mentors. Tim always has an answer for every question and encourages Kevin to “be transparent in everything you do,” and never hide who he is. Kevin has implemented much of Tim’s philosophy in his own leadership with the Coastal Crew. “Anyone can come to me about any route we do at CBC, and I will do my best to provide guidance and direction.”

When asked what has kept him at CBC all these years, Kevin is quick to say—“the people.” “Working with the Nunnelee family and the people at CBC is wonderful,” he says with a smile. “When the president straps on his boots, gets in the trenches, and works side by side with you on your truck—that means something. Plus, I have leukemia, and they’ve always supported me through my fight. Every day is a new adventure and I love it!”
