Amanda graduated with her bachelor’s in business marketing and started with CBC as a sales representative in 2009. She has loved working with CBC from day one, thriving in the competitive, always-on-the-go environment that keeps her on her toes. Amanda was aspirational and kept her sights on a marketing or management position. In 2014, she advanced to become an area manager in the region where she originally sold, along with new territories, and today, she is continuing to grow and learn.
When you ask Amanda what she likes about CBC, she’s not shy. “CBC brands are first-class, top-notch, and world-renowned—and it’s impressive. I feel honored to be responsible for these brands out in the market and excited to represent them every day.” Amanda also loves the internal culture at CBC. “At CBC, it’s a family environment. I walk down the hallway, and I know my coworkers’ kids, and we talk about what they enjoyed doing on the weekend.”
She was especially touched by a recent situation at work. “One of my coworkers lost her eight-month old son, and the way the Coastal family wrapped their arms around her was amazing to see—I can’t think of another place that would respond like that. Tee and Brian and others came to support her at the memorial service. You just don’t see that a lot anymore. It’s unique. It’s refreshing. And I’m proud to be a part of that.”
